My situation is somewhat different. I'm a man, but your article is great! Do you work with guys who want to start up a home business? Would my wife have to do the business or could we work at this together as a couple? I'm intrigued and amazed at much of what I've read so far. I've got to share this with Lois! I know she'll be so excited! Please tell us more as to how we get started!

Sabrina,

As a new Christian, I found Pastor Rich's teachings refreshing, as well as, your website on at home jobs. I DO sell skin care products, totally enriching women's lives, but don't do it as much as I should.

Thank you for the "respect" you indicated for those who do work through a MLM company. Mine, in particular, gives you the freedom to run your business the way you want remembering the few company legalities and the "Golden Rule": GOD first, Family second, and Career third. We much abide by that in our household, but do to some health issues my "career" seems to have jumped ship.

Pastor's teaching on adversity was just the kick I needed this morning to get up and get moving again with my own business. THANK YOU!!!!

Your website is a wonderful inspiration for young women/mothers and I will recommend it to all I know interested in working from home (outside of my own
kind of work,of course)!! Not every women was meant to do what I do. I've learned that the "fellowship" amongst all my company sisters is the bestest of best. When you live by the golden rule, HE will provide....even if it's a no sale, but another "new" best friend with a new smile. Everything comes from HIM!!!

I was disturbed that the above article did not list the scriptural references for the points made - if I cannot look up the passages myself, how can I determine if your teaching follows God's word? Please list the chapter and verse when you make statements like "James knows it is not all God's fault." etc. Thank you. Cori Ander

Thank you so much for this article. I cry almost everyday because things are so hard. The ex-husband owes $3k in back child support and I'm still temping and haven't secured a full-time position; the business I started has failed and I have not been able to secure monies to purchase the franchise I've researched. My heart aches in this situation with an almost 3 year old son and a 6 month old daughter. Every other day I'm in a position of trying to keep the lights on, pay the car note, the car insurance, the rent, the phone, the computer; needing formula my the baby, pull-ups for the toddler, on and on and on. I'm so tired. This article reminded me that to despair is useless. I will count it all joy. I will not be afraid and as long as God gives my life I will get up everyday and put one foot in front of the other and keep moving. I will learn what I'm supposed to learn and I know Joy will come to me once again. Thank you so much for your article and for your website. It is a blessing to me.

I'm not sure if you get this personally, but I emailed quite late yesterday, actually it would have been between 3 - 4 this a.m. I would like to mention that I have been tremendously encouraged again as I leaf through your sites tonight. For some time now I have been looking for an internet business that would be legitimate - everything you say is so like everything I have experienced and thought - my prayer was for direction from the Lord Jesus - and it is so exciting to think that this could be the answer! My tiredness took over and the encouragement and hope that I had just reaped from your information suddenly drained away. I would like to do a little more reading and research as it is a lot (but so refreshing) to consume. Before registering, could you possibly email[ ]- letting me know you have received this? Thank you for allowing us to think more of ourself, as working Moms, at home or office, it is very easy to lose ourselves. As for my vision, I see myself financially free. The Lord has been good to me all these years, yet as I grew up poor, I hurt if my children are in want. Mistakes have been made by my husband and me, and by the grace of God we are still here, but if God allows, I want us to be free from that worry. Only He can help see my vision to the end.

I'm all for Jesus, for He has done a whole lot of amazing things in my life. When I needed a hubby, I asked Him...He send me an amazing man. When I needed strength and courage to take care of my parents when they were both ill, I asked Him, and again He came through. There is nothing our Triune God wouldn't do.
My friend and I do Bible studies together via the telephone. Last week to our surprise, we chose similar Scripture Memory verses to recite: Hers was from Jeremiah 33:3..."Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
And mine was, "He shall call upon Me, and I will answer Him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation." Psalm 91:15,16.
Both these verses mean a whole lot to us, and now we vow to do as instructed: Call upon Him.
It is my desire to follow a vision, too. That vision is to tell about the goodness and love of our Triune God through my website, www.dailysoulfoodforyou.com. With this site I hope to encourage many through my humble writings as I try to show them that there is always hope when you trust in God.
Your vision is indeed an encouragment, and I wish you and all your readers many blessings.

This is something I NEED! My oldest, almost 25, is off and away from home, but my 11 & a 1/2 year old is still home. I need something that will motivate her to clean up after herself seeing that my getting mad to the boiling point (and then) she *might* want to clean up a couple of things! I'm hoping this chart will help because constantly reminding her of her responsibilities to the point of screaming doesn't help! LOL!
